2nd Halesworth Brownies:
We have three new Brownies this term. Daisy, Leah and Olivia have settled well and are joining in with all our activities.
We began the new term with a games night followed by a New Year party. At least this is what I thought it was going to be but Sheila, Karen and Laura apparently had other plans! I should have smelt a rat when I went to the upstairs room to find it decked with balloons and birthday banners – I thought I had escaped! The plot thickened when Jenny [our District Commissioner] arrived, followed shortly by Dianne [our former Commissioner] and then Don turned up! The Brownies had provided a wonderful feast and Penguin produced a cake for a dual celebration, my 60th birthday and 40 years “doing” Brownies. THANK YOU so much for the surprise, I will get you back later!
We have a busy time planned and this term our badge is the “Culture Badge”. We look forward to exploring our locality and further afield looking at food and traditions around the world.
Dates for February are: 7th, 21st and 28th.
Alison.

We are called to be children of God, and as a part of His church we are commanded to love and encourage each other. We believe we must obey Jesus Christ's command to proclaim His Gospel to all the world.
