Our Vision
' To know Jesus Christ; to make Him known.' |
|
|
We support many Christian Organisations, such as:
|
We have a special overseas link through the Romans One Eleven Trust with Pastor Patrick Ggenza and the Church at Wanyange, Jinja, Uganda where they are establishing a Spiritual Life Centre for Ugandan pastors. |
We are a Fairtrade Church and support Traidcraft having two "Traidcraft Days" each year at the home of one of our members.
We also support Christian Aid, and Tearfund through our Bramfield Chapel.
We have regular visits from representatives of Leprosy Mission, also London City Mission,
Middle East Christian Outreach and support them and also the Gideons.
We support MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship), whose hard work and Christian care reach out to those who are most in need.
We have had Services taken by representitives from Tools With A Mission
and The Bible Society
Other missions are supported through the different Church groups.
We have concern for young people on the streets of the town and on every Saturday evening a group goes out to befriend them. This is known as the Project SallyVan.
We, alongside our local Churches in Halesworth have prayed together and worked together over this last year to prepare for a united mission/Christian festival in the summer of 2009. For more information on the Churches in our area go to www.blythvalleychurches.org.uk
Our aim is to make Jesus Christ known in Halesworth and the villages through any means possible and especially through personal contact and witness.

We are called to be children of God, and as a part of His church we are commanded to love and encourage each other. We believe we must obey Jesus Christ's command to proclaim His Gospel to all the world. |
