To those new to the area and maybe others who have forgotten, Dorothy Courtis is an authoress and a member of our church who writes under the name of Dorothy Stewart. A few days ago my brother-in-law in Parkstone, Dorset wrote enclosing a photocopy of the title page of “One Day At A Time – Meditations for Carers”. He said that he had been reading this book and found it it very helpful especially some chapters and did I know the book. I hastened to tell him that I did and that we had several copies in our shop plus others by the same authoress. Dorothy is very busy taking Services with the Waveney Valley team as she is very much in demand. It’s always a bonus when she takes a Service in our own church.
Please do come in the shop for a cup of tea or coffee and a break from your shopping. Have a look at the books, cards and gifts we sell, with Christmas fast approaching a book makes a lovely stocking filler and helps the Sign of the Fish keep open.

A very happy New Year to you all. We pray that 2012 is going to be a really good year for us. It would be really helpful if anyone dropped in and bought a book, a card or two, a gift or Traidcraft item every month. Our helpers are really pleased to see you, if not to buy but to join them for a cup of tea or coffee, biscuits or cake.
There are two new Eddie Askew books out:- ‘Brilliant Weeds and Flowers’ and ’Conversations and Prayers’.

Located in the Market Place Car Park, Halesworth.
CoffeeWe are a small friendly Christian bookshop in a delightful East Anglian market town. We have a good range of up-to-date books for children (from picture books and puzzles to edgy teen fiction) and for adults. We have an excellent selection of Bibles, commentaries, biographies and devotional books. We supply Bible reading notes and can order any book you need with a quick turnaround.

We also sell Christian greetings cards, gifts, music CDs and cassettes, and DVDs. You'll find a warm welcome when you drop in for a cup of tea, coffee or cold drink.

There is free parking in the Market Square outside the shop. Our staff are all volunteers and involved in local churches.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to be self-supporting so we can spread the Christian message whether through a cup of tea and a listening ear, a helpful book, the perfect card or small gift.

We are called to be children of God, and as a part of His church we are commanded to love and encourage each other. We believe we must obey Jesus Christ's command to proclaim His Gospel to all the world.
